The Abercorn Dahlia Festival Show Sponsored by Westlands Boost
The Abercorn Dahlia Festival 2025 concluded another successful year, Showcasing Over 1,800 Stunning Blooms. Running for a full week, the festival featured two major showcases: The Essex Dahlia Society Show followed by the Abercorn Southern Championship.
This year’s festival brought together 40 exhibitors, who collectively presented more than 600 vases filled with 1,800 blooms. The displays highlighted both traditional favourites and exciting new varieties, demonstrating the exceptional talent and dedication of the region’s growers.

The exclusive Dahlia "Abercorn Sunrise" was well received by our customers with a donation of £5 from each one sold going to the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation raising much needed funds. Peter Seabrook was a nationally known horticulturist and the foundation was set up in his name, a registered charity supporting the development of students studying horticulture in the UK and Ireland, by offering scholarships.

Any spare blooms that the exhibitors don't use will be available to purchase.
If suitable the show blooms will also be available to buy at 4pm on Friday.
